Their Residential plans give you free incoming and outgoing calls to U.S. and I signed up anyway, so ultimately I guess this is a little bit "my bad", tooĪxvoice has a number of offerings available to both residential and business customers. And in all honesty, I'm thinking I might even cancel my account if this is indicative of Axvoice's 'customer service', which I admit, I had seen "less than sterling" reports of as regards Axvoice. NOT a particularly good start to my first VoIP service. I FOUND AN RMA EMAIL FOR SOMEONE ELSE INSIDE THE BOX. Of note: It was apparent this Grandstream HT801 had been sent to, and used by, another Axvoice user since. that is, UNLESS I paid yet another $19.99 for "shipping, handling, and provisioning" for another analog adapter unit to replace this 'broken' analog adapter. In my case, the analog phone adapter they sent with my setup was faulty right out of the box (broken micro-USB 5 volt power input receptacle to the 'base'), and they simply refused to replace it. Gotta be honest here: I gave the 'reliability' only one star for a reason: While the VoIP service is damned good, and it'd be difficult to make it much cheaper.I have a problem. Would I use them again? Most likely, and if necessary because it was a smooth run with this company. All in all, my experience with them was OK. Maybe that's how they keep their prices so low, I have no idea. They lose 1 star because there is no live support. However, if you are not very technical and you need someone to walk you through the set-up, or you need to resolve a billing issue on a live call then, I suggest you use a different VOIP service or use your Internet provider's VOIP if they offer one. If you need fast VOIP service at an excellent price, and you don't mind not having a real person to talk to when you need tech or billing support, then I say go for it. They usually respond within 36 hours or less on a weekday when you send them an e-mail, and they are very friendly when they respond, however, they have no real address, no real phone number, so here you are giving them your credit card number, and you don't really know who or what this company is. Everything is done through e-mail and in this day and age I find this a bit creepy. The only thing I found weird was they that do not have live support. Their prices are very reasonable, and their service comes with a lot of nice features included in the price. I just recently canceled because my whole work situation has changed. I used this company for a year because of remote work demands during the pandemic. Axvoice also offers BYOD (where applicable) to help you save on your bill. The device is designed for plug and play installation, which means it works right out of the box and gets your service up and running in minutes. All three plans include over 30+ calling features, online account management, and VoIP equipment.Īll of Axvoice’s home phone plans include a free VoIP device.
